Check out functions
The check out functionality is shown in
the screen below.
What is shown above is after the user ID has first been
scanned, followed by the item ID.
A picture of the user can also be seen (optional and is a setup parameter). The
item to be
checked out is shown in a table. More items to the same user can be added by
scanning
the item ID. When all items are entered, the ‘Check out’ button is clicked to
post the loan
transactions to the database. All transactions are controlled by the privileges
set in the
Circulation Privileges Matrix (a setup operation).
If the logged-in library is part of a ‘Shared circulation’
or ‘Shared check-in’ network,
the ‘Library’ combo box is clicked to select the library to which the user
belongs.
