Editing of MARC-21 records -
General template
Once a record is imported, this is edited using
either the MARC-21 template or the General template.
How this is done with
the General template is shown below.

The template shown above has several tabbed pages for Added
Entry, Subject Headings, Notes,
Edition, Imprint, etc. Clicking on any of these
tabs opens that page and the data shown can be
edited or new data entered.
Observe also that there is a tab for Attachments. When this is clicked
a dialog
opens that allows: 1. a digital resource (full text of document, contents page
image, etc.,
to be attached) or 2. a URL may be specified that contains related
resources, e.g., a conference
proceedings web site that contains the abstracts
of papers being described.
During data entry/editing it is possible to invoke the
appropriate 'Authority file' to ensure consistency.
For instance, when entering or editing a personal name, the entry an be selected
from the
Personal Name Authority file.
